As of this posting, Malaysia has the highest number of recorded COVID-19 cases at 790, followed by Singapore (313), Indonesia (227), Thailand (212), and the Philippines (202). Brunei and Vietnam recorced 68 cases each while Cambodia has 35 cases. The remaining countries which are COVID-19-free are Myanmar and Laos. There are now 1,915 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the whole ASEAN Region.

In terms of number of deaths, Indonesia recorded 19 deaths, followed by the Philippines at 17 deaths. The death toll in Malaysia is at 2 while there is one (1) death in Thailand. Other ASEAN countries do not have any recorded death as of this writing. The total number of deaths in ASEAN is 39.

The Philippines has the highest mortality rate among 10 ASEAN Member-States which is 8.42%, followed by Indonesia at 8.37%. Thailand's mortality rate due to COVID-19 is 0.47% while Malaysia has 0.25% death rate. The average mortality rate in the ASEAN Region is 1.75%.
