Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago wins a seat in the International Court of Justice

Congratulations to Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago for winning a seat in the six-seat International Court of Justice! She is the first Asian from a developing country to join as a judge in the powerful ICC which is based in The Hague, Netherlands.
