I did some online research on the background of those individuals who have already announced their intention to run for vice president. As of today, October 5,. four individuals are listed on the table above - incumbent Senators Escudero, Cayetano, and Trillanes and incumbent Congresswoman Robredo. I observed some commonalities among them, such as the following:
1. Escudero,Cayetano, and Trillanes are current Senators.
2. Escudero,Cayetano, and Trillanes are of the same age - 44. Well, Escudero will be turning 45 on October 10, 2015, Cayetano on October 28 this year, and Trillanes on August 6 next year.
3. All four candidates have attended the University of the Philippines (UP).
4. Three of them (Escudero, Cayetano, and Robredo) are lawyers.
5. They are all politicians.
