Customer Service Representatives - persons who cater/ assist to the concerns of the customers (even if the latter throw abusive words/ foul language to them); bowing down to the customers' demands; callboy/ callgirl ang tawag ng karamihan sa kanila, because of the nature of the job (laughs); keyword: CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
After all, it's all negative, one-sided point of view. The Philippine government has seen the importance of call center industry especially this time that we are facing a global financial crisis. Ang call centers ang nagsasalba sa ekonomiya ng bansa, according to the Arroyo administration.
Ang nakakalungkot lamang ay ito: after working in a call center, what next? Sacrifice is as important as rice.
Pera eh. Tiis lang. How I wish the government has some sort of plans or security programs for them similar to GSIS/SSS (aside from SSS). But it seems that they are also part of the neglected segment of employment sector including the OFWs.
