Three-hundred twenty one (321) individuals filed their Certificates of Candidacy before the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) since Monday, October 5 to eye for national seats in the May 2016 national elections. Filing of COC ended last Friday, October 9 at 5:00 p.m.
Presidential hopefuls constitute 130 individuals while 19 submitted COCs for Vice Presidential position. There are 172 individuals who filed their Certificates of Candidacy for Senate seats.
According to COMELEC, the Commission will release the final list of candidates on December 10, 2015.
