November 1, 2011 is a Special Non-Working Holiday in the Philippines

As per Proclamation No. 84 from the Office of the President of the Philippines, November 1, 2011, which falls on Tuesday, is a Special Non-Working Holiday in the country. Since it's a non-working holiday, no classes will be held throughout the country and workers are not obliged to report to work (except in some companies, with special holiday pay, of course).

Filipinos traditionally call this day as All Saint's Day where families gather to visit the graves of their loved ones in cemeteries. This also gives full opportunities for many Filipinos to observe religious fervor.
