Project title: DYNASLOPE: Development of Site-specific Threshold for Deep-seated Landslides and Slope Failures

Program description:
Monitoring of landslides, as a viable alternative risk mitigation measure, reduces potential socio-economic losses due to relocation of communities at risk. It provides an alternative to engineering interventions, and thus contributes to the reduction of landslide hazard mitigation costs. The program aims to enhance and further test existing system (from an earlier program) for forecasting deep-seated landslides by deploying the system in 50 sites across the Philippines. Thresholds and warning protocols will be developed and validated for these sites.
